No doubt, and I'd guess a lot of them got killed in unpleasant circumstances!

Number 24, great shout, he was definitely a great man and the word hero is often overused in these times but he certainly was one.

Just finished the second of a three part series called “ ordeal by innocence “ an Agatha Christie crime drama staring bill nighy. I love this kind of crime drama, whodunnits. Third and last part tonight, it’s on bbc iplayer, 50+ minutes each episode, if like me you are a crime drama fan it’s well worth a watch…

Enjoying Fight Night: the million dollar heist on ITVx. Some good performances and a fantastic soundtrack. Set 1970 around the Ali comeback fight. Even though I paid £20 for a year of ad free streaming, itv can’t resist dropping in an ad for their shows every 10 minutes - be warned.

Just watched on Netflix a light romcom called Yesterday. Chap wakes up after a 'cosmic incident' and finds he's the only person on earth who knows who the Beatles were, all evidence of their existence has vanished. So he's lined up to make a killing doing their songs as originals. Sounds a bit naff but it worked, for me at least, and the songs really are good!

    My recent watches on Netflix...

Black Doves - British spy thriller, starring Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw, and Sarah Lancashire. A bit daft in places, but well acted and well filmed, recommended.

Missing You - Police thriller, starring Rosalind Eleazar and Ashley Walters (Top Boy). Not as good as Black Doves, but still worth watching (though I found the detective's best mate really irritating)..

Baby Reindeer - Only watching this one to see what all the fuss was about, two episodes in and I think it's been fairly crap so far.

Started watching On Call…following a pair of American police officers think it’s on Prime. Very good watch so far, 30 minutes episodes so one you can watch in a hurry.

Also quite impressed with the new Dexter - Original Sin. New actors - very well cast…has Michael C Hall as the voice over so a nice nod to the past. Excellent 6 episodes in.

I’m also a bit of a stickler for using IMDb as a guide to how good things are. But, if you’ve watched The Substance, that gets 7.4 and it’s one of the worst things I’ve ever seen!
