Something we can agree on. Crown Spa Hotel is good.

Not sure what it's all got to do with Netflix and Box Sets minds't.

I wasn’t suggesting that there’s no homelessness, or anti-social behaviour etc, just that I didn’t see any and overall it was a much more pleasant experience than I was expecting.

I traditionally do well business-wise in seaside towns, there’s generally a lot of music events, scooter meets, ride-outs etc, but I don’t actually have an account in Scarborough. There’s a couple of good menswear stores on Huntriss Row, but ironically, a bit upmarket for us (which is not something I normally say about seaside towns).

Just watched episode one of Big Cats 24/7 on BBC iplayer and there's six episodes all told. The difference with this series is that the camera operators are the presenters, really interesting series.

I just started watching Ripley. Think I missed it in April when it dropped as I thought it was an Alien spinoff.

It's actually yet another spinoff of the Talented Mr Ripley with Andrew Scott as Tom Ripley..

    Enjoying it a lot.

Just watched “ happiness for beginners “
Absolutely loved it, no one got shot, or buildings felled but oh the poem near the end, truth is if I could write such a poem I’d die a happy man…
    Well worth a watch….

Could I ask a very big favour of everyone who recommends films/series on this thread? Could you please say which channel you watched it on, it would be so much easier if you did having watched it than people who haven't and have to go searching for it.
    Thank you in anticipation. :emoticon-0148-yes:<cheers>

Probably as unhelpful as I can get given @rovertiger request to name channels, but I tried to find the full Treme series somewhere and couldn’t so kids bought me the DVD box set. How old school
It’s a HBO series (4 seasons as the young uns say) set in New Orleans just after the flood.
I thought it was brilliant. Great music and interesting characters.
Probably main actors were John Goodman (Big Ledowski & loads of stuff) and Wendell Pierce (The Wire)
    Throughly enjoying watching it again.

my Mrs does not understand why I watch something I’ve previously seen, saying “ what’s the point.” If you can’t understand Karen, then there is no point in explaining I tell her.
