Ooh yes, thanks for the reminder. Saw it advertised, but couldn’t remember what channel it was on

They've been talking about making a film of it since CM wrote it - I'd love to see it but, I doubt it will ever happen; they would have to water down the explicit violence so much it would become just a poor shadow of the book.

I finished watching this last night, the soundtrack is fantastic, in fact it's the best thing about it. I thought it was watchable, but they made a mistake promoting it as being linked to Two Tone, as it really isn't. Though it's about a group of misfits forming a band, it's as much about the IRA as it is about music. Some of the dialogue could have come straight out of Peaky Blinders and by far the best character in it, Gregory, was actually in Peaky Blinders. The highlight for me was Gregory wearing one of my tops <laugh>

    Might check that out.

We used to wrestling and all sorts in PE. Just 30 lads in a circle have to fight each other out.

Yeah that was the one. Agreed on it tailing off. Don't want to put out any spoilers. But the stuff in the last series with his sister just got daft.

I'll probably get round to it. He does a good job with the character even when the storylines are a bit weak.

My missus watched the first but didn’t want to bother with the rest, it takes a while to get going and there’s some over the top bits, but I was glad I watched it all in the end.

It's not Netflix, but as the topic has been discussed here, has anyone else been viewing some of the footage from the inquiry?

If anyone still trusts 'the system' they really need to look at some of the footage. This cost people their pensions, livelihoods and lives.

    Here's one example.

MR Singh a senior post office lawyer claimed today not to have seen a document that he had saved to his computer and printed off. Went on to say he didn't know how to save a document.

I thought it was decent. A cut above the films Liam Neeson churns out these days.

Good to see Jack 'Joffrey' Gleeson back acting after he flirted with retirement.
