Off Topic NETFLIX and Box Set series Thread.

Enjoyed Killers of the Flower Moon but I do like a long understated western and De Niro and DiCaprio when they act like this.
Loving True Detective 4 at the moment, 2 episodes in.
Excited to start Master of the Air.

I'm five episodes in. I'll finish it over the weekend.

Accents I can cope with. I wasn't aware of what a constitutional sheriff was and that was a scary Google rabbit hole I disappeared down for a few hours.

As was the whole idea of Sin Eaters; but that was some Welsh history I found a little easier to swallow.

 

I would recommend Criminal Record on Apple TV. There are going to be 8 episodes, 1 a week. Episode 4 was last night. Really enjoying it. Peter Capaldi is the lead in it

A bit of Ex Machina, mixed with some Blade Runner 2049 and a large dollop of Artificial Intelligence.

Just started watching Series 1, looking forward to it. There was a similarly themed TV series in the '70s called "Danger UXB" starring Anthony Andrews & Judy Geeson which was excellent, so hope this one matches up.

Watched All of Us Strangers this afternoon. Based on an 80s Japanese novel. Very powerful. Not for homophobes as the novel's straight couple is now a gay couple. Stunningly effective film, really liked it.
