Finding Alice is quite good, not brilliant but certainly watchable, last episode tonight. Don’t know wha to watch after that but as always there is something out there
Oh my lord are you ever, I don’t know about others but I am so jealous of anyone that hasn’t seen there fantastic programs. When I’m told “ I’ve never seen it, my reply always oh!! my ****ing lord etc. it is and that is if you like war movies one of the best, the story line and individual characters are fantastic. The camera views and photography is amazing. Yes you could say I like it, **** sake Christmas, hurry the **** up !!!!
My favourite TV was Game Of Thrones - BoB runs it a very close second, it's based on a true story of the American 101st Airborne from their inception until the end of the war - each episode begins and ends with stories from guys who were in the scenes portrayed in that episode. It's fantastic TV, I'd never say to anyone ''you must watch this'' but, you must watch this!
I bought a VHS--> DVD CONVERTER machine about 20 years ago to back up the tapes and save having to purchase new shelving. Rented the VHS tapes and built up quite a large collection - mainly for the ex-missus and son. They now want me to add 'em all to portable hard drives ! Never ending toil - especially as I'm not really a movie fan myself.
Has anyone watched something called Paradise .. Sci with a twist on Netflix.... supposed to be fantastic...
Just read this about it… **** the critics always watch the bugger yourself I say, if I’d listened to them idiots I’d never of found “ chariots of fire “…
Band of Brothers it is then Looking at when it was made I wasn't living in the UK at the time so that's probably why I didn't watch it then , not sure why I didn't watch it later on
Maybe I should give it another try but I gave up after a couple of episodes after recommendations on here I felt it was just the usual formulaic ww2 stuff bit like seeing gangster films or series after the sopranos it’s all been done
Watched Boiling Point the film in advance of the series tonight, Stephen Graham has become unmissable as an actor.
