Watched Luther: The Fallen Sun last night. Load of tripe, becomes more and more implausible up to the ludicrous ending. Idris Elba's better than that.
Absolute sack of ****e…. And we’ll never get that hour and a half ish back to watch wet paint dry… Ever !!!!
Just finished Beef on Netflix - was OK, not the 'best Netflix series' some people have been saying despite 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Also watched the Lewis Capaldi documentary - I enjoyed it
I watched The Midnight Sky yesterday, George Clooney stars and directs this gloomy sci-fi end of the world type thing. Another to avoid.
As with all programs of this type these days it's all about the made up interaction between the characters. The couple been together 3 years and he buggered off and left her naked, no map, no water in the middle of nowhere, then at the end he proposes, she should / would have given him a swift kick in the nuts and walked off. The bloke in the other pair was borderline psycho ( and not a city one ) Race the world, the 2 women team get to the cable car and now one has a fear of heights, falling to her knees and bursting into tears. There had been no mention of this earlier when they were in high places, so her mate stands by her and helps her, all forgotten at the scary high view point at the top when they find out they were first. Started with big brother and has gone on and on from there.
TwoWrights is spreading a rumour that you were naked alone and had to race home. I don't believe him. Consult a solicitor about a libel case against him.
I recommend HNK Solicitors, especially if you're ever falsely arrested. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I was made to watch Glow Up: Britains next make up Star by my daughter!! Honest anyway thought it was gonna be ****e But it’s good we’ll if you’ve got a daughter into make up it’s worth a watch
In a sort of similar vein, I 'chose' to watch a lot of Below Decks last night with my two teenage daughters plus the Motte, although she retired to bed before me. Quality time with the women and all that but Jesus wept......trouble is you sort of want to know what's going to happen next, which probably makes me a sad git. If they'd put Love Island on however, I would have drawn the line at that.
This week's episode starts with the one with a fear of heights sitting having breakfast at a window seat of a skyscraper hotel built on top of a mountain. Within 5 minutes there she is at the top of a tower view point standing on the see through floor. Scared of heights my arse, why make up **** to make it more dramatic when there's more than enough real dramatic stuff. They're travelling across Canada ffs.
Just binged on Magpie Murders, Iplayer. Well worth watching if you like Midsomer Murders but a bit more demanding of the 'little grey cells'. I reckon anything from Anthony Horowitz is worth giving time to.
