Just on the third series of Two Doors Down on i player, a scottish comedy in half hour episodes. Funny as **** but you need to stay with it past the first episode.
Landscapers on Sky Atlantic. True story, only 4 episodes. Brilliant acting from the lead players, Olivia Coleman & David Thewliss. Worth a look.
Watched the Netflix film The Unforgivable this morning, starring Sandra Bullock as a cop killer who’s just served twenty years. I’m not really a Bullock fan, but she’s excellent in this and it’s well worth a watch.
Was recommended two doors down Didn’t fancy it as it’s a load of jocks just watched the new episode season 5 episode 1 Veggie curry Best laugh I’ve had in ages
We loved Ted Lasso, as it is gentle. But sitting with the missus watching any football themed program, means that it has to be sort of naff.
We watch quite a bit of Apple TV now. Invasion is a little bit dark (in the light/dark sense) but the storyline was good at the start, then it just looks like they ran out of money a bit and it has become stale.
Just finished watching Millennium on BBC4. Really is very good, the best of the Scandi thrillers by far, except perhaps for the Swedish version of Wallander...
The Rescue on Disney+ - the story of the rescue of the Thai kids' football team trapped in a cave - incredible story and very well told, highly recommended
Best of the lot in my opinion. Especially the first two series. Followed by the Danish one The Killing. Those two kicked off the Scandi Noir popularity really.
I'm just on Series 2, you can see why Kim Bodia was chosen to play Konstantin in the Killing Eve series, really good actor.
Lucky you. I wish I was going to spend some nights seeing it for the first time. Nothing as good on at the moment (in my opinion). The Bridge and Spiral were my favourite television viewing over the last few years.
My mrs was absolutely wetting herself with laughter last night watching “ click and collect “ I was playing golf on my iPad so cannot comment
