He's Scottish. Allegedly. Sounds English though. Although doesn't sound local. Which is weird considering he's been at United since he was five.

As far as I know he's just said he will represent Scotland if/when. I don't know how I know!? I might have made it up but I think it was last game of season at home to Palace, perhaps I read it in the programme or something. You can bet Scotland will be sniffing round shortly if what I'm sure I didn't dream is true!
You can **** right off with that bullshit If I have another kid and they are born in Scotland they will not be even remotely Scottish!
I think he’s a cracking player and the best option we’ve had since Carrick’s been on the way out. Carrick certainly benefitted from playing under a far superior manager in Fergie. Nice that Carrick is now being appreciated by opposition fans. When available he was always picked by Fergie, not so by England managers. Do you think Johnandyoko has been a good replacement for Matic? Matic is a footballer surely?
Id swap Matic for a young Carrick all day long to be honest. Matic is a decent holding midfield player, but Carrick offers alot more. Matic just doesn't have the quality Carrick has on the ball, whilst defensively Carrick was a much cleverer player.
Bakayoko is about as bad as it gets, how anyone at Chelsea could have come to the conclusion that he was better than Matic and worth 40 million pounds is beyond me.
Who could actually replace Carrick? He was a far better player than most people realised. A stream of England managers largely overlooked him as they were too scared to drop Gerrard or Lampard.
Conte wanted Nainggolan but apparently Marina Bitchflaps and Emenalo knew better. Anything to save a few quid these days, one would think we weren't owned by a Billionaire the way we penny pinch these days.
Gerrard and Lampard coming along together was the worst thing that ever happened to the England national side, as we actually had a golden generation of players, but it was ruined by managers trying to shoe horn all the 'best players' into the one team. Nothing against Gerrard and Lampard, but they where attacking midfield players, they weren't good enough on the ball or defensively to play the deeper role. Their job in the England side should have been getting in the box from midfield and scoring goals, not dictating the play and protecting the back 4. I think we'd of had a big chance at a WC or EC if we had played a 5 in midfield with Carrick and Scholes as holding/deep lying playmakers, with either Lampard or Gerrard having license to get forward and score goals. One of them had to be dropped though.
The Chelsea hierarchy don't like signing older players either, and Naingolan at 29 probably doesn't have any sell on value. I think Naingolan is quality though to be fair. You might be owned by a billionaire, but when the best players are now going for near 200 million, I don't think just being a billionaire is enough these days. When your owner first took over a top player was 10-20 million, so maybe financially he isn't quite as wealthy as he was in the football world back in 2004.
Where have you been for the last 5 years? £350m is **** all in todays market. Especially over 4 transfer windows. Its our wages, Marina ****chops has a mandate to get our wage bill down. So if a player requests a penny over what we think they are worth, the deal is off. And we will not sign a player over 30 on anymore than an 18 month contract, its ****ing asinine. Why are they thinking about re sale value, they should be looking at what value the player can provide on the pitch.
Awesome, that means Jose and Pep have barely spend anything then I'll just refer people to this comment from now on when my team get accused of trying to buy trophies.
