Only ones for me who are even close are Bosingwa, Adel and Clint. But maybe both Bosingwa, who I don't think ever had a bad game, and Adel have missed too many games as well, and Clint had big problems in a few games.

Clint hasn't been bad and Adel hasn't been bad. Don't want to start an Adel debate but they are the only 2 for me.

I don't think it would be right to vote for any player who has only been here half a season.

That's my feeling. I accept others may disagree.

Some of the players who have only been here half the season have achieved more than those who have been here the whole season!

Thought the OP was good TBH, dont see how we managed to get the hump about it?!

    Cheers Canada..

Appreciate all the opinions and TBH prob would pay little attention if I didn't live so close to the action........Oh and for those that missed it, the OP was intended to be a combination of humour, irony and sarcasm.....

I'm actually enjoying the TFC and Whitecaps games - certainly a lot less stressful than watching us play these days.

Perhaps the dissenters would prefer the above sort of action?

Toronto FC 1 Houston Dynamo 1 (watched this game)

Same plot a week later - must irk Ryan Nelsen to throw away 4 pts at the death.

Toronto FC surrenders late goal to draw Dynamo - Warren Creavalle's header in stoppage time evens things for Houston

    http://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/sto...er-toronto-fc-jeremy-hall-houston-dynamo.html

Robert Earnshaw didn't score in this game, but he is real goal poaching finisher with great awareness of the game and a good shot - wonder how he might have performed in our current squad, which apart from Remy is useless in this area.

Hogan Ephraim was right off his game in the 1st half, put really picked it up in the 2nd with good build up play and a few shots on goal.

I know I saw that too whilst on a long indoor training ride...coz winter refuses to disappear!

Earnshaw deserved a goal when he hit the bar in the first half. nelsen seems to have them well organised although in true superhoops style they added a little twist this week by having a man advantage for the most of the 2nd half but still couldn't resist conceding an injury time equaliser

Kilburn, where would you place the quality of footy in the MLS - lower half of championship? My experience has been predominantly TFC so not necessarily a fair benchmark

Not normally an MLS fan, but I guess due to Nelsen joining TFC, I've actually been watching quite a few TFC, Impact & Whitecap games and consider these teams could likely compete in lower half of the Championship or upper Division 1.

Earnshaw, past his prime now, has been a revelation and continues to have a real knack for scoring goals - felt he played that challenge for the red card decision though - he could certain still compete and score goals in the Championship - certainly better than Hulse, Bothroyd, Campbell, Mackie etc.

Can't disagree with that - assuming remy leaves I still don't see where our goals are coming from in the championship let alone PL

Haven't watched many of the other teams but Houston made the final 2 yrs running & they looked v ordinary. Guess LA, NY might be upper champ at best & TFC host NY next week so will keep an eye on that

One of these days I would like to watch a TFC game live - tickets around $90 I see. Wonder if Ryan Nelsen would have some complimentary tickets for us long suffering R's fans?

In the mid 1970's I lived in Vancouver and used to watch the Whitecaps play at Empire Stadium - in 1977 I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to see Pelé, Eusébio and Franz Beckenbauer play games, allbeit at the end of their careers.

Well at least the Nelsen haters haven't thrown their toys out of the pram yet.

Thanks, I bank with BMO, if that helps? :emoticon-0100-smile

Travelling up from Atlantic Canada, bit of a long drive (11 hrs), so would also have to plan flights, accommodations etc.

Kevin Davies: Bolton striker on verge of Toronto switch

"Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Davies is close to agreeing a deal to move to MLS side Toronto FC.
The striker, 36, is out of contract this summer and has already been told he will not be offered a new deal.
BBC Radio Manchester understands that Bolton are willing to allow the striker to leave before the end of the season."

Good move by Ryan Nelsen & TFC to pick up another experienced player, like Earnshaw.
