Not as far as I am aware. I'll be honest, I'm dead against it. People forget that traders need access to Dixons. They do say it will help people in wheelchairs.
You're right. Wheelchairs users do get a bad deal. I went to see a friend of mine yesterday in Horncastle, who is in a wheelchair, because of an underlying illness. Trying to manoeuvre a wheelchair along steep paths is a right task.
