Swords, You're obviously a fan of Hogan. So let's assume Mackie regains full fitness, who would you choose & why?
Assuming Mackie regains full fitness and he hasn't lost form I'd play Mackie. But hes crocked. And Ephraim has far more to offer than that waste of space Buzsaky. Nevertheless, its splitting hairs. None of the above are gonna be mainstays or light up the Premier League. The manager obviously has his reasons.
His play is still a bit naive sometimes, lacks a bit of vision perhaps? Slightly limited distribution- he's good at the tippy tappy stuff, but you don't see him spraying pitch-widtch passes all over the place. He's 23, so maybe his game should be a bit more developed than it is. To put things into perspective though, he's an inch taller than puncheon + Tommy smith, 3.5 inches taller than SWP, and 2 inches taller than David Silva(i know heigh doesn't always=physicality, but it's still relevant). I don't dispute there have been instacnes where he's been light weight, but don't think they're as prevalent as has been suggested; and are perhaps more relevant to the earlier part of his ranger career.
To be honest the lad Andrade looks like a sharper hogan and being a youngster means he squeezes in outsde the 25 rule and hogan is surplus to requirements. The PVM case is very curious. Feted heavily, never really used and now out?
Warnock's agonising decision over QPR strikers IT WAS touch and go who got the 25th and last QPR squad place this week – according to boss Neil Warnock. The agonising decision saw crocked Jamie Mackie (pic) get the nod over Patrick Agyemang – despite the striker starting in two out of the three Premiership games so far. “I had to go with the physios telling me Jamie would be back in the next couple of weeks,” admitted Warnock. “If that backfires – I’ve made a mistake. “But I’m getting enquiries for players who didn’t make the squad. (Striker) Rob Hulse is still injured – and I’ve had three or four about him already.” The manager also revealed striker DJ Campbell has been laid low an incredible three weeks by a mystery virus. “He’s been bad, really bad – he only started training this week,” said Warnock. “We’ve done every test you can name – blood, backside – the lot and they’ve found nothing.” However, the £1.25 striker from Blackpool is set to get a place on the bench on Monday at home to Newcastle, when Joey Barton runs out against his old club. What you see, is not all always what you get – reckons his new boss. Apparently, the new midfielder is interested in art museums and books. “He’s quite literary and I was thinking Joey might like a copy of my autobiography,” joked Warnock. “Before I got to know him, I thought he might just look at the pictures.” iReader
As far as I can recall, there was one dude on this and half a dozen other forums biggin' him up the whole time. Obviously a mate or maybe an agent?? His whole thesis was "He was great in Norway". The difference in standard is enormous. Also, I think he was a Paladini/Briatore signing so the chances are he is sh*t. P.S Good reply Grifter!
When it comes to Ephraim, Buzsaki and Mackie, its all about presence for me. Their ability to make their presence felt on the pitch - not presence in the squad. I very much doubt that all 22 outfield players will get on the bench, let alone the pitch before January anyway. So whether Mackie comes through or not doesn't really matter. It's not like Ephraim would get much of a sniff even if he was in the frame is it? As for Buz... I can't see him being that great at this level - but playing more central and taking his hunger into account, he's more likely than Ephraim to make his presence felt given the opportunity.
My opinion has instantly changed about Puncheon. My mate said he thought he was bigger than the club at Saints, so fair play for footing some of the bill. Hope he does well
Me Joko I would have Mackie and Hogan Buzlightyear he not have hunger like other tribesman Daktari Daktari
