lets just see what happens.

1) there will be no appeal over the red card

2) warnock will be charged for his comments

3) barton will be charged for his tweets

4) the qpr director will be charged for his tweets

5) points 1-4 tell you everything you need to know about the incident

Time for an admission,I used to quite like Warnock and I had a degree of sympathy with the Sheffield United relegation issue. But lately he has just become too much of a curmudgeon.

So you think Barton did headbutt Johnson then? I've seen it on the replay, and in all honesty to my eyes he doesnt thrust his head forward at all?

I think West Ham worked a flanker re:Tevez. He was clearly never a West Ham player and was responsible for them staying up.They should have been fined and docked points. But they are a London club I suppose.

i don't think its a headbutt, but he definitely leans into him. there is clearly intent and that in itself is a red card offence. he could easily have been sent off for the two flailing elbows he aimed at whitbread and johnson in the build up. had barton been lucky you could argue both players should be booked but even the most die-hard qpr fans must be able to see that barton is a massive liability if he's that easy to wind up. he's not even that good a player...

If you were a burglar and didn't want to get pulled you would not walk around carrying a sack over your shoulder marked swag and wearing a mask.Joey Barton is clearly of terminally low IQ.

His on-field disciplinary record is not that bad. Also I think the fact Lambert doesn't see it tells all you need to know, had his player truly been the victim he'd have backed him.

Now, every time we play (and lose) to Norwich we always have a player sent off Deus Ex Machina - its almost like a law of physics that this must happen - so you cant say we don't have experience of accepting a sending off against your team when its deserved. I think in this case, any other player does the same nothing happens - its Barton's reputation that has got him sent off here.

Except that EVERY time you've claimed it's undeserved. And yet no successful appeals. Admittedly appeals don't always work, but usually they do if justified... Funny that. Perhaps it's time you looked elsewhere other than blaming us, or the ref?

On second thoughts, blame us for the defeat yesterday. We are the more talented team after all. That's why we've done the double!

I agree, so tell me, how is that anybody's fault other than Barton himself?

but i think you'll find lambert probably didn't see it. the ball had long gone and most people were following the ball. having said that, he is always careful with his words, unlike your boss!

re: the red card last year; i think you'll find warnock said that wasn't a red card either, before inexplicably saying he thought it was! make your mind up neil!! you may well be right that barton's reputation is the reason for the card, and if so thats wrong, but he's such a fool for getting involved! he didn't need to do what he did and he gave the ref a reason to dismiss him. as i state above, i don't think barton is a good player - he's ok, but nowhere near as good as he thinks he is, and you don't appear to be getting value for money. he seems to have affected the tight-knit group you had last season, doesn't get on with taarabt, tweets absolute garbage... actually, i can't have a go at him for that as i do that too...

Cant recall any other sending off against you being this contentous, and we always seem to have one sent off - you've only got to look at the bile on here that has been generated this time as opposed to the last few games.

Instead of chipping in with more inflammatory remarks....why don't you just close all these threads now? Norwich are keeping them going more than Rs now!!

Alas the bile goes both ways Tooting. The QPR guys were totally fine, as were the Norwich fans until that incident. You do not need to be a genius to work out what side said what! The inevitable car crash took place.

Oh...and that's just about the thickest thing I've ever heard!!
Players should be refereed on each new game....NOT on what they have or haven't done previously!! <doh>
