well i for one don't get this.

This goes down entirely to structure at the club and if warnck was the guy buying and scouting then... ermm..... who the HELL is going to fin 3-4 players in the next 20 odd days to keep them up now? If warnock was not buying players then the owners were anyway.

I ge tthe feeling warnock laied the old FM ultimatum down and they just sacked him... warnock will get 2-3mil in compo.. move on and its qpr who lose in this.

They should have bought who he wanted this year, stayed up if they could and then moved him on... the compo would be the same but the risk is higher sacking him.

I think they waited (i'd hope) as they were lining up hughes and there'll be an appointment post haste this week.. if not its and awful mistake.

Terrible decision. He's a decent manager.

    They'll go down now.

Hughes has gone from one job to the next - getting worse calubs to manage each time. His stocks have fallen.

I agree. He should have stayed at Fulham. QPR is a much bigger challange unless he is given financial backing but even then he has to spent it quickly before the end of the transfer window otherwise he'll have to work with what he's got.

Hughes is quite hit and miss in the transfer market as well

100% I cannot work out if he is any good or not. Think he's a midtable manager, not really a relegation/Championship type.

Taking this job means he will now struggle to get a bigger one - unless he's very successfull in the future.

Very strange choice. I would of waited for the Villa job.

That's because Hughes has the same agent as Tevez that Kia Joorabchian bloke and he has a reputation for moving his client's about for money.
