A simple question to a QPR legend was all that was asked. Therefore I need to get a life because you misconstrued the op. Cheers W9, good work.
You need to get a life cos you are the one going completely overboard and swearing in a football forum about about an ex manager who is going to speak on a podcast. important stuff 999 , no wonder you lost the plot. prick.
Let's all calm it Ahmet... Settle down Nines, Warnock's a touchy subject atm. If you're gonna start a thread on a fresh wound expect a bit of blood. Be gentle. Anyway, you're asking for questions to NW. Here's one. As a self-confessed motivator, why was team spirit at such a low ebb prior to and during the game at MKD?
I think I would like to ask him - If at the start of the season the goons had opened their wallet, who would have been the first person you would have wanted to sign for the club and why?
Brixton , thats my point, why have him on in the first place. It obviously an open wound and its not helping our club one little bit. If there is a divide on what NW is doing at preent how is that helping matters . Surely his stories and the like can wait until the end of season. Its not helping us one iota. How can any of this benefit us in the short term, and by us i mean QPR.
I got an A Level in "Counting", and also one in English language, sub section 283. 32 on "What is an English swear word and what isn't", so I'll keep the faith in my first check!
I fundamentally disagree with that statement. In fact Iâd not only say that there is there room for sentiment in football, Iâd say that itâs absolutely essential. Without sentiment where would the human drama be? If we donât actually care about the players and coaching stuff, if we donât honour those who have made an outstanding contribution to our beloved football club, if itâs just about points in a table, then count me out! For me the sentiment, the people, the history, the area, the very soul of the club, is what makes football so compelling. If itâs just a matter watching Franchise A kick a ball around against Franchise B in the surroundings of a Corporate-sponsored Arena, in a corporate-sponsored league in front of a disinterested bunch of plastic âfansâ, then thatâs not what itâs all about for me. If âsuccessâ is just about making sure that weâve got about points on the board to stay in the league, and it doesnât matter who pulls on the shirt, how the players and board behave, or whoever gets stabbed in the back along the way, then we have very different ideas of what constitutes âsuccessâ.
All a bit messy RW9. Don't know much about these podcast things or who governs them but clearly another media outlet looking for meaty issues. NW's a talker isn't he - and despite his comments to the contrary, obviously still upset with plenty to say. Such a shame. Embarrassing really. As for Warnock related threads on here, we seem to have divided into two camps: those still grieving and those who've moved on. You seem to fall into the latter category. Best to ignore the NW threads for the time being.
You take the rough with the smooth with Warnock. After going down with Sheff Utd he banged on about the Tevez affair for years. As far as he's concerned, there's only one point of view that's 100% right, and that's his. That sort of conviction can be a pain at times, but also helps him achieve things. He and Joey are alike in that. Warnock is way in positive with me - if he grouses a bit, let him get on with it. That's our Neil and he wasn't called Colin by some for nothing. Once he gets his next job, he'll start moving on. And he'll still be a QPR legend in my view.
Sorry Brix, but I have to take slight issue with your âthose who are still grieving and those who have moved onâ characterisation. Not sure if I can speak for 999, Oslo and others, but I certainly feel that Iâve moved on. I was at the MK Dons and Wigan games and cheering on Mark Hughes and the team as much as anyone. But having moved on doesnât mean that I now have to think that the board where right to sack Warnock. Also, quite frankly I think that some of the abuse now being chucked at a man who did so much for our club is way out of line. The OP of this thread was about what questions people want put to Warnock, not âwhat do you think or Warnock?â, or âis it good or bad that heâs been elbowed?â. Anyway, just my opinion
