For me, Taylor goes only on receiving replacement value for a proven Prem player (cash in hand) plus post-trade performance related payments etc. As we found out with Scotland, money is fine, but filling a void is tough to do ... and there is a void at left back without Taylor. Does anybody really want to see Tate retreating past our keeper with Spurs' Lennon running at him, or one of a dozen or more fast wide men. The only alternative is Jazz at LB - at the moment.

Now I'm not saying that Taylor is so great at LB and then some, just that our second choice is either scary or inexperienced.

Well said. Don't sell until either the total will easily allow us to replace him, or until we already have an alternative lined up.

i dont think we can keep him to be honest it looking like he is putting in for a transfer request and if he does then he will go. In my view we should sell him now reguardless and put the money towards a more seasoned left back, im sure there are left backs out there that would give their right arm (as long as its not their left leg) to play for a premiership outfit like us.......let him go as we want players that want to play for the swans and not a player that will hold a grudge and play half heartily...
