i mean, we do not like the bloke for the way he left, everything else he did at the club we have no real complaints about but ffs the bloke has had 2 games with a squad devoid of confidence even i would allow him at least half a dozen and most likely my usual 10 games before i judge him...that ground looks likely to turn toxic quite fast.

disclaimer: not saying i wont enjoy it if he royally fecks up, the way he walked should see him never again get employment in football however he dresses it up, he did the dirty big time.

Two games is bloody ridiculous mind. They are used to not winning and it will take a bit to change.
    My heart bleeds for him.mind.

Lest we forget he took 2 points from his first 3 games here and one of them was an injury time equaliser. Modern football fans have zero patience

If they're a dirty side now they'll be a lot worse under Neil. He's pretty much admitted that he tells his players to put their foot in on the opposition.

I think he has taken over quite a messed up squad by the sounds of it. Built for 3 at the back but they are missing their best wing backs to make it work effectively. MoN had same issue.

If promotion is the ambition I don't think it'll be this season unless they have a good January window.

My take on this is that he is a good coach....I enjoyed the football we are playing..... and he'll probably get Stoke into shape at some point.
Our problem is that, like a spurned lover, we feel betrayed. We'd committed to him...he let us down massively...and we hope he's a miserable failure.
The 4th March 2023,Sky permitting, behind the away dugout at the SoL,is not going to be a place for the faint of heart.

Can't spend can they? Or at least they need to sell a few to let them recruit. Shambles, but at least AN has his bank balance to keep him warm at night. The ****
