So Neil Lennon leaves Celtic, not unexpectedly... but who might take over?

Gonna give an early shout out for Frank Lampard ... another, more left field, might be Wayne Rooney ... thoughts?

Any odds on Steve Evans, he's always wanted the job, his lifetime ambition, be nice if they could please take him off our hands.

Anyway, more seriously, I suppose Lampard and Rooney is no more crackpot than Rangers taking Gerrard.

Your last thought reflects my thinking exactly... the SPL is unique in that any Celtic or Rangers manager only needs to better their counterpart... both Lamps and Rooney would be able to attract Prem quality players, albeit those looking for some success in the twilight of their careers ... that is probably all that will be needed tbf ... not that Gerrard hasn't done a good job ... but the acid test will be coming up against EPL opposition in the Europey...

They should be made to **** off and play in the Irish leagues where they can sing about the IRA until their little hearts are content.
