LOL He is just a kid, unproven, not done **** all with his career. If he leaves you people will know the truth about him. Basically he is just peter crouch with a ****ing big attitude problem
Comas/99: to paraphrase Tarantino - did your dad never tell you that if you reduce your propensity for specific predictions the less apt you are to look foolish in retrospect? At the risk of sounding like a WUM, I remember many people saying the same about Rooney. Carroll may get 25 in a season, he may not. It's not important, anyway. I'd be happy if he got us 10-15 goals next season. Suarez will get us about the same (if not more), and I'd expect 5-15 goals from various other midfield positions (4/5 players). Hopefully that'll net us enough to force our way back into the top 4 (which has to be our primary aim this/next year!).
I wouldn't be concerned about this game. Looking at our team in the first half there is really only Carragher and possibly Kelly who is likely to be playing against Sunderland. The rest of the team are all fringe players (Doni, Aquilani, Maxi, N'gog), youth players (Ayala, Robinson, Coady) and a couple who will hopefully be sold (Poulson & Cole). Also take into account that they'd just come back from Asia and Hull are a week ahead in preperation then I don't think there is anything to worry about.
I was at the game yesterday and haven't been able to get online until now. Just amazed, but unsurprised, at the negativity surrounding the game. Let's be clear - in the first half Liverpool were pants and if anyone needed to be reminded why the likes of Poulsen need to move on, it was there to be seen. I think the good and really important news is quiet revolution that I can see unfolding with the arrival of Downing (especially), Henderson and Adam. I never really rated Downing when he was at Boro and could never see him make any kind of real impact for England, but he (and Henderson) just bring another dimension to the game (width) that has been missing for so long. I felt quite excited by the prospect of these three alone next season, even after the third Hull goal went in. Plus Charlie Adam can now hopefully take over corner duties from Stevie G - a result of its own. Also, I consciously watched Andy Carroll wait for the through ball when he went through one on one and there was no way he was offside (from where I was sitting) - happy to be told otherwise, but I think the guys a man mountain and is eager to please KK. I think a goal would have helped him a great deal. Finally, I also thought the Hull City fans were a great bunch of lads. Mauled by the Tigers, indeed.... Bring on Sunderland. Can't wait. GKRK.
Rooney? Really, I can't remember an moments doubt that he would become one of the World's Great Players. Carroll? Massive gamble. 8th most expensive Player in the history of the game. Madness.
David Schofield. Rooney really?I can't remember an moment doubt that he would become one of the worlds great players. Will you tell us when Rooney actually becomes one of the worlds greatest players. He's currently nowhere near it.
Rooneys had one season of goalscoring and hes one of the worlds best? Rooney is a good player yes but world class players are, Messi, Ronaldo Xavi and people of those ILK, Shreks not even 1/2 as good as those players!
Well it's rather typical that he goes to United and suddenly he's the best striker that ever lived. Suarez, who's impressed in the dutch league, international stage and in his few months in the premier league won't be given the same label (despite proving more than Rooney ever did) because he's not English and he plays for Liverpool.
That's right, because Torres didn't get any praise in a Liverpool shirt did he? The Dutch League is 8 months of Penalty Kicks, and International Football doesn't come close to the quality of the Premier League.
Everyone goes on about Rooney not having a supreme scoring record, the thing is, he's only played as a conventional striker for one season (the one which he dominated in.) The rest he's always played more deep creating chances for others: Ronaldo, Tevez, Berbatov and now Hernandez.
Schofield - posting that on the Liverpool board is a clear attempt to WUM (for about the 10th time this week). You should **** off back to your hole you dirty bastard.
Uefa have him currently ranked at 91,So what world are you talking about? http://www.castrolfootball.com/rank...p=&nation=&position=&search=&offset=80&jump=1
