It's BOGOF on Telegraph Fantasy Football teams so I have decided to have one serious and one made entirely of ex-Saints players.

So far I have:


Chris Baird - Danny Higginbottom - Fitz Hall

Alex Chamberlain - Rory Delap - Theo Walcott - Gareth Bale

Leon Best - Peter Crouch - Kevin Davies


Hoever, I can't find a keeper in the Prem that has any connection to Saints .... any ideas?

Doesn't matter how vague the connection is, as long as I can explain his presence to my work colleagues :emoticon-0102-bigsm
 
Surman and Dyer will get a lot more games than Chamberlain - and will probably do better than Delap or Best.

I don't think we have any keepers in the Prem. Niemi, Jones, Moss, Miller all long gone. Smith currently in the Championship with Forest. Wright without a club. Davis and Bart obviously still with us. Blayney is back in Ireland. Keller is back in USA. Have we had any other keepers this century, that have played for the first-team?
 
Up until last season There were a couple but I just cannot remember their names at the moment was it Jones played for a midland side until recently oh my ruddy memory of late............

You are kidding right? Dave beasant, Jones I have mentioned the england goal keeper that played more games for england while he was our keeper and that is just a couple off the top of my head.......there ain't much else there now though.....<laugh>
 
There was Maik Taylor of Birmingham until recently and I'm not worried about points, just trying to fit as many of our 'bigger' names as possible.

Thanks for the suggestions so far though, have just swapped Surman and Dyer in for Best and Delap.

Beasant was last century Beddy! Likewise Shilton.

Maik Taylor was a good shout though Sam - not many of our players from the last century are still around, but he's one of them.

Forget the last century is only 11 years ago...........Sorry I'll get me coat....... Nobody loves me anymore........bye
