Not necessarily but it's easier to check the background for close breeding if they're registered P.S. The dog in the omen is a Rottweiler (Two different rotts to be exact) The woman who supplied them lives in sussex. Stopme they're Rotts in the video you posted
Absolutely. He always used to sleep in my youngest daughter's bedroom, as he took it upon himself to be her guardian angel.
Most of those dogs look to slow to be good guard dogs, including the polar bear dog. I liked the look of a Dogo Argentino, they look scary. I then googled them and realised there so dangerous that there banned in this country
surely at their age getting a puppy of any dog isnt a good idea. As all dog are boisterous when young. Especially rotties. Which I agree make great pets but they need a lot of exercise and a lot of training. I'd go to a rehoming centre and 3-4 year old dog like a staffie or mastiff. can be scary when they need to be.

Isn't it abit of a gamble taking on a rescue dog? As you have no idea what the dog has been through, which could see it turn aggressive to its owners
You don't need a ****ing dog. We're all safe now! 'Batman' brings in suspect to Bradford police http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-21654930
depends. Sometimes they know a lot about their history. Also the bigger charities like the Dogs Trust have dog trainers so they spend a lot of time with the dogs and recommend the sorts of people to adopt them. I got a staffie boxer cross from a dogs trust centre. she is brilliant. fine with kids of all agews, and she was mistreated as a puppy and was used in dog fights in ireland. She cant go near other dogs though without trying to rip their throats out. To me its seems too much for elderly folk to get a puppy of a big dog. As they need an awful lot of time invested in them with walking and training. Which on a boisterous big dog if its not done properly will cause more trouble for them. I'd recommend a older staffie. wont need walking too much and will bark if anything comes up to the house.
