Swords, honestly mate, listen to the 'Open all R's' podcast and you will get a tasty of what Neds about. Honest, witty, intelligent and comes over as a real nice guy. Really glad he is ours.
That's what a few good results do for the board mate.this time last year there would of been bans being thrown about like confetti. Long may it continue
Completely agree Staines. Have waited some time to see this boys class on the field and now it's coming through. He was class today and deserved his MOTM. He has shown the most consistency within the team so far and partners superbly with Danny Simpson. Will be a big favourite for sure.
Its written in the stars then mate. Also, if the lad continues to progress at his current rate, a shout must go out to Oddball who always said there was a player in that boy.
Excellent performance again today from Ned. Top bloke and all round professional as well, so pleased to see him doing so well.
He did..............and can I just say that I was a lone voice in the wilderness when he joined us when everyone was saying that he was "slow" (he's anything but!!) and not very good. Always saw his potential and may I say............I was right!!
Listened to Ned on the podcast and thought he came across very well, but I think the main problem was more to do with fitness. He is not the only player that looks in better shape this season Hoilett a prim example.
Me and NUTs spoke about him yesterday...Defo got a touch of the Paul Parker (my FAV) about him..except Parker was far too god for us. playing alongside Dunne & Hill is a masterstroke and he will become a top CB My concern is that if we don't go straight back up or next year, he will be Rio replacen at ManUre..Got to give him the armband next season, if only to keep him. Classt classy player when played in the right place, with a decent CM in front and good keeper behind. This guy is going places..lets just pray he takes us with him Captain in the making..IMHO BTW..i did say that about Granero and ALI so hope its not the kiss of death...!!
