Sounds to me a good choice you made tiger, I had a cortisone jab previous to the replacement to see if that would aleviated my situation, needless to say it didn't but has worked for other people in regard to elbow and shoulder complaints from what I've been told.
One week ago, I had a cortisone shot in my right shoulder that had been giving me grief for the last year or so, with around only 30% mobility. It worked a treat, and now I've got 99% mobility back, completely pain-free. Brilliant!
We'll just have to wait 'n see. I guess it was muscular, rather than skeletal. I wouldn't hesitate to have another shot if needed.
Did the doc suggest you cut back on the ****ing or increase the frequency to build up muscle strength ?
I got my own version but as a pedestrian. 7 years old. Excited to go watch the Lion King at the cinema but we were late because of traffic and worried it would be full. After parking on the other side of the road, my sister who was at the cinema already waved across a very busy 4 boulevard, I thought it was a sign that there were seats left and I let go of my mum's hand and ran for it. Small car side swipes me, side mirror smashed to the face, blacked out, women driver pissed herself apparently. Had I ran half a second sooner I wouldn't be here to piss all you people off. Ended up happy to be carried out into a fireman's truck. Turns out sister was waving to say there are no more seats left. Small Margins of life.
There's a lad at work (he's 38) who's had a hip replacement that went wrong so he has to have another. 16 weeks off work the jammy bastard.
