Wenger who's been under pressure all season talks up the opposition after only getting a 1 goal victory against the side bottom of the league, and has one of his players agree with him. Well that's a shock.
Have you seen his comments after the 5-0 thrashing of Villa? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31082842 "Overall they gave us a good game"
Nerve? I'll tell you about nerve (of which Leicester obviously have none), I don't understand how you have the nerve to laugh at what started out as a light hearted joke about our new striker & turned into a discussion regarding his goal scoring, MOM performance in our 2-0 win last night in which he also assisted in the other goal on his home debut when the average thread over your way revolves around self pity, self delusion & false optimism. Now please explain a few things for me. How can Wes Morgan be the best defender outside the PL yet the worst one in it? Even better than James Chester apparently. Is it still the consensus of the Leicester Not606 Massive that you had a PL team playing in the Championship & the gap between the two isn't as big as people make out? Do you think your local journalistic sage still has you down to finish 13th? Do a lot of your supporters still believe you'll finish between 8th & 12th? Over the moon with higher but more than satisfied with 12th. Do you still berate supporters of other clubs who suggest you may finish in the bottom 3? Do members of The Leicester Massive still believe Knockaert to be worth upward of £10m? I could go on, & on, & on, & on asking about your lot's deluded outlooks but I won't, because I'm nice.
Poor bloke. Why so angry? There's a glimmer of hope that you won't be going down now too. Cheer up. What I will say is that this thread is almost a carbon copy of the one about that other waste of money you've got up front after he scored early on.
Anyone would think AKBollox has enough to worry about with regard to his own club, without spewing his pointless piffle on this board.
Yeh yeh yeh blah blah blah carbon copy? I'll tell you about carbon copies, every ****ing matchday thread & after match threads on your board. "Can't believe we lost that, we're excellent ... Oh the chances our superior forwards missed, again ... Have you heard Theo Walcott thinks we're great? ... We're sooooo unlucky ... " Angry? I'll tell you about angry ... "Nigel's here ... Nigel's gone ... Nigel doesn't like the press ... Nigel wants a fight with Lineker ... Nigel's just told me to go **** myself ... Who's Nigel strangling this week? ... Nigel's back ... " Yeh yeh yeh blah blah blah.
Wrong again bollock brain, I know all about rhetorical questions, such as 'Are Leicester doomed?', 'Is sock face a ****?' However I'm sure that many of us would still like to hear your explanations to the questions asked, rhetorical or not.
Are Vardy and Nugents still going to set the league alight? All those goals they scored last season, of course they'll cut it in the premier league eh? Kramaric and Ulloa, what a ferking waste of money anarl.
It's nice to hear about a footballer that is here to play football and not for the money, if all the reports of him taking a large cut in money to play for City are true. Ok it might of just be to get a foot in the door of the Premier League and move on to better things if he is successful but if that keeps MY team in the PL and gets us a massive sell on fee then so be it.
He's a completely different player to Hernandez. It was always obvious that Hernandez needed time to adapt to English football and that he didn't really do anything without the ball at his feet. N'Doye looks like he is very well suited already and gives a lot to the team in pressing and harrying the opposition as well as being a strong hold up player to create chances for the rest of the team.
Does anyone know what we're paying N'Doye? I know Bruce has said he's taken a pay cut, but is that down to different levels of income tax or has his pre tax salary also been slashed as well? Income tax is a flat rate of 13% in Russia, so he was on £55k p/w pre tax. Possibly we're paying him the same but he's just earning less due to higher tax?
I'm not sure where the HDM got that £55k a week from, it's unusual for them to quote a figure like that without attributing it to someone. He was on £27k a week at Copenhagen in 2012, so it's likely he is on a hefty wage.
I don't know where the HDM got it from either, I've not seen it, but Brucey said he was earning £48k p/w after tax in Russia so I figured it out for myself.
Similar things were said after Hernandez's debut, funnily enough he turned out to be ****e. (Although I did think he looked impressive on his debut). Kramaric has one league start, one league goal. Can't complain about that but we're smart enough to not count our chickens yet, although he does seem to have exceptional ability. As for Ulloa, 9 goals this season is a fantastic return for a side that's rock bottom. I really don't think Hull are in the position to talk about wasted money this season. I don't think anybody (I certainly wasn't) suggested that Nugent or Vardy would score goals like they did in the Championship (I did think they'd do better than they had, though Nuge would match the tally of 6 he got at Burnley). Which was why we signed Ulloa. We play a lot better with Nugent in the team and Vardy just doesn't get in the team ahead of Ulloa or Kramaric, unless we're playing a team that's got shaky defenders because he's one of the hardest workers in the league. Doesn't give defenders a moments rest. Rumours were that we turned down a 5m bid from West Brom for him in Jan. Oh dear, I thought you were studying Journalism at University too.
