We're singing his praises, because in his first eight starts and two sub appearances in the Premier League, he's scored five goals.
And you're right to. But you'd have slated him for the chances he missed (one man miss of the season competition vs Palace). Looks a lot like our Leo, and he scored 5 in his first 5.
I thought you'd improved over the years but this is right up there with the complete bollocks you used to spout. I'm guessing you made these judgments based entirely on MOTD? He's an extremely tidy footballer. Great touch, smart footballing brain and good passer of the ball. He used to be a CM so is much more than just a finisher. He missed two good chances on Saturday but other than that I can't think of him missing any sitters at all. He looks incredible value at £3M or whatever it was we paid for him.
Having seen a bit of your Leo at Brighton, I can confidently state that N'Doye is much better. Quicker, better technical ability, and an ability to dribble past defenders. I was surprised Ulloa managed to do as well as he has in the Premier League (and I know a lot of Brighton fans feel the same), although he has been taking a bit of a back seat lately. He definitely looks ungainly and a bit of a lump....can't argue with the goals in the end I guess, though whether he has had a bit of a honeymoon period or not I guess you'll have to wait and see. N'Doye though, I am pretty confident he will continue to bang em in next season as well
We'll see. Trouble is with Ulloa is he's rarely in the right position (which isn't something you could say about N'Doye). He's probably had 10 shots all season and scored 10 goals (exaggeration alert). You don't get many games where one striker should score 5/6 goals but your game against Palace was certainly one of them. The difference between Ulloa and N'Doye is the price tag. 5 goals has already paid off the tuppence you spent on him (same can't be said for that Uruguayan or Jelavic mind).
I don't know; Jelavic has consistently bagged 1 in 3 and pretty much bagged us safety last season. He looks very untidy but he has scored consistently enough to qualify as a Premier League striker. Ulloa and Hernandez? Jury out
Nothing wrong with the fee we paid for Jelavic, we could get our money back if we flogged him, no trouble at all.
Exactly this. Yet more bollocks from AKCJ. Jela has been our most important player this season, without him we would be doing even worse.
He has arguably the best touch in the team, and tonight against Liverpool demonstrated it by dancing around three players. At his height and strength to have the touch he has is ridiculous.
I hope you appreciated Alukos efforts tonight too even though he didn't score, he harried the Liverpool players non stop and was prepared to take them on constantly. We will get another keeper in the summer.
I think you actually believe this rubbish, N Doye and Jelly are twice as good as any of your strikers, the only thing Vardy wins is an ugly contest
Couldn't watch the game Bo as it was on between 4.30am and 6.25am (Oz Time) which is outside my hours unfortunately but I will watch the replay of course. Saw Dawson's goal which was on 'Sportsline' when I got up at 8.15am though and he certainly took it well. Everyone seems to have an obsession with trying to prove me wrong about Aluko. What you are telling me is that you employed a Painter to decorate your house and he did an absolute sh@thouse job but you enjoyed his whistling all day. I don't care if Aluko has a cr@p in the middle of the pitch and then wipes his @rse on an opposition players shirt he is still a noodle short of a stir-fry at this level despite the fact that sometimes he plays like his @rse is on fire but there's no end result.
