There really seems so little to choose between the bottom ten clubs (I think Swansea can be forgiven because of the Europa League, which really drains a squad).
It is by no means a coincidence that we have started getting results since hooper has been getting full games, hope we can hold onto him for the foreseeable future, the back four really need to tighten up though, RVW can wait on the bench as far as im concerned regardless of price tag
Hopefully that might put the wind in our sails. Passing has generally been atrocious. Commentator generously saying Bassong slipped for Dyer's goal, though just thought he was a bit laissez faire as he is wont to be from time to time. An absolute Rosario of a goal though from Hooper. Lovely.
Hooper is quality.A real goal poacher who it is nigh on impossible to defend against. That goal was as good as any we have seen this season.
Well I don't think we could be any worse in the second half than we were in the first 35 minutes, and hopefully that goal will give us a boost. Hughton's got the easier job at half-time, the goal and the injury are a sucker punch for Swansea. What a strike though, and the interplay with Elmander was good too, they do seem to be forming quite a decent partnership, even if it is more Heskey-Owen style in that it's only one of them finding the back of the net.
Hooper proving once again in a different league how class he is, always thought he would score and that really was a wonder goal. I have to add Dyer goal was good too, hope his injury isn't too serious.
