I would love to see these two playing at CB together with Godfrey ahead of them as DM
Zimmermann is out until 2020 and will take a while to get up to speed when back big blow.

I'm guessing after that performance the same 11 will play against Burnley.

Even Max will struggle to get back in the team which was unthinkable before yesterday.

Godfrey and Amadou looked very comfortable together both very confident on the ball and putting in important blocks they were much closer together giving less space for runners behind and repelling crosses.

I would argue that Byram offers more defensively than Aarons, at West ham everything was switched to him and very predictable .

Byram was brilliant.

Have to agree with that. It’s good to have competition in the squad and will no doubt help Aarons keep improving

Byram was a revelation yesterday, particularly defensively and I would agree that he is arguably better than Aarons in that regard. Amadou looked calm and assured, pairing well with Godfrey and linking with Byram as well. It could even be an advantage that they're both coming in at the same time, as could be said for McLean and Tettey.

I have many favourite photos from my years of supporting Norwich City but this one will always be my first choice. I'm the star-struck 11 year old on the left hand side looking up at Joe Royle having carried the Barry Butler trophy onto the pitch in 1981. A great day as a ball boy!
