This is the same press that had us nailed on for promotion after beating Man U in the cup a little while back.
We had a poor game and lost. Next........

need to sell newspapers … so do I go with:-
Leeds Utd scrape 1-0 win against a Bristol city side frought with a weeks worth of sickness amongst some of its major players or:-

come up with …. 'Dominated struggling City like rabbits in headlights who invited trouble, and were duly battered.....

BBC, Talksport, Press Association, Yorkshire Evvening Post, Telegraph, Times and Bristol Post were all misrepresenting Bristol City FC.

For what reason ? they only reported what they saw, the words 'Dominance' - ' Struggling' - 'Battered' - ' Madness' - ' Rabbits in headlights' - ' Invited trouble' were used by independent reporters nationally, Bristol City were well thumped by a better sidee, we were outplayed, outfought and out thought all over the pitch, that included our players and head coach with the exception of our goalkeeper.

I watched it live and we could have been throttled by 5 or 6 goals, it was a travesty, we can carry on kidding ourselves or hope LJ and the team get right for Saturday.

Let us hope all squads, from all teams in the football league have, ' Recovered from or avoided the sickness bug' after all we are all human.

God willing that includes the bug that is causing all of the worry and distress in the world.

Even the mighty Liverpool lost tonight - 1-0 by coincidence.
I’m not dressing it up - we were utterly dire vs Leeds but we need to bounce back from it.
I honestly can’t see us getting anything vs WBA - even if we play well, so our ‘bounce’ isn’t likely to start until the following game. But then, we are Bristol City after all so nobody really knows what will happen on Saturday.

it was good of elland back or whoever to send us the links?
    WIZ
we might have won 3-2! drew 2-2 lost 2-1 or maybe even any other score may have featured had they scored a second! the game was what it was, and destiny luck or whatever force never changed it. Had they scored a second we would not be having these posts! we could easily be chatting about a sending off, 2 penalty shouts ...or ! .. they did their best to beat us we did the best to stop them and win or draw or them score a second... mission in a sort of way accomplished.

I NEVER BUY PAPERS now, haven't for about 20 years watch the tv or listen to radio or check items on here.... can switch it off or choose not to read /listen!

And with the amount of dominance and possession. Liverpool should have won by 5.......but they didn't......Leeds put one past us and couldn't manage anymore...fact. Had they have done, I think the banners would have been out in force!!! :emoticon-0105-wink:

HORROR SHOW! :emoticon-0105-wink: you have such a vivid vocabulary of doom and gloom sometimes .. we lost 1-0 that tells the story …. we have played far far better and lost 2-0 or 3-1

From what I've seen and read, losing 1-0 at Leeds doesn't tell the story at all.

It's just as well that Leeds didn't score the hatful that they should have done then.
I agree that Luton away was a total shambles of a performance as was the result, but just as bad was throwing away several leads this season when we were in winning positions and could/should have claimed 3 points. Boro, Barnsley, Birmingham all spring to mind
The only saving grace is that we are not alone in this wasteful habit and plenty of other teams are just as bad.

I think quite a few of us did .. TNX TO ELLANDBACK..... interpretation is a wonderful thing …. there is an interesting programme on History channel … "in search of.... " looking for such things as information, on the lochness monster... bigfoot … the roswell rock!!!! ..atlantis ...etc seen 6 of them so far and the only one I can really go along with is the roswell rock …. lochness well 400 million plus years ago it was not where it is now! the "glen/ loch" is the result of a coming together ..common knowledge... yet some interpret it as having a prehistoric monster … other like me "know" that is impossible both side's interpret "visions" differently …. I saw a team get a goal and tried for 70 mins or more to break us down to score again .. I saw a team "alledegly" suffering from bouts of illness .. and a few around me have suffered also .. put up a defence to avoid disaster and concede a hatful …..

And this coming from the man who thought Matty Taylor scored 3 goals last night because it said 90+3 <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

How about accepting that we defended really well, to keep it to 1-0 which probably is our best result up there for years.

Even a Bristol City FC player agrees with some of us, Markus Henriksen says, "Leeds were better in every aspect of the game unfortunately."
They may have only scored one goal only but they won, they got 3 points, they bossed and dominated the game, sorry to say it again but we got battered, outclassed and were beaten by a vastly better and well prepared team, they exposed weaknesses in our team management set up, I hope these faults will be corrected against WBA

Bristol City midfielder says Leeds United are 'best footballing side' in Championship ahead of West Brom test
The new Bristol City signing spoke to the media on Wednesday ahead of welcoming West Brom to Ashton Gate following the loss against Leeds United.
