I never realised the promotion rules have changed for the National League this season.
The top team still goes up but the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th placed teams enter a qualifying round!
Then the two winners of the qualifying round play AWAY fixtures in a semi-final against 2nd and 3rd.
Jeez what a lot of messing about!
As it stands after six games, Dover sit 7th and Bromley in 4th, Ebbsfleet are unbeaten but have had five draws out of the six, while Maidstone are slowly improving after early season defeats to Ebbsfleet and Leyton Orient, how weird it seems to see the latter in that league.
And bottom of the league Torquay and Hartlepool bet Jeff Stelling is not too happy.
