Tamerlo, Betfair prices are only accepted when a price isn't available with a conventional bookmaker. I've subbed bookies' prices where applicable.

Chance, that's fair enough, thanks. I couldn't get the prices from the " bar " runners in the betting.
PS. Being There- what a great film(Sellers at his best!) but his early ones were just as good, if not better ie. Ladykillers, Smallest Show On Earth, I'm All Right Jack. Bloody magic!

    Thanks Tamerlo.
You're right about Sellers' early ones, there were plenty of great films in there as well. And then there's Dr Strangelove - one of the best films ever made <ok>

I have temporarily unstuck this thread and will re-stick it when we approach the first race in the competition. Good luck to all who entered. Sorry I missed the deadline CG. Thanks for running it.

    Hi everyone.

Just a quick update on the competition. Nobody came up with Kauto Star for the King George, so it's all level going into Cheltenham!

Not really too concerned about the competition, but am I okay to add my one or two selections when I place them, just for casual interest?

Thanks for the update CG. I'll unstick this until Cheltenham now. The thread can still be found directly via the Index if needed.

Okay Ron. Happy New Year to everyone.

Top Class: Feel free to add your selections but, as you know, I won't be able to include them in the compy. It's always interesting to look back on what you fancied for the big races when they're still a few months away.

Cheers CG. Yeah I would just like to use the thread as an ante-post tracker rather than get involved in competition. I like to see if people managed to find any value <ok>

Appalling really that not one person could come up with the 4 time winner of the race.

I suppose it does emphasise what a remarkable renaissance he has enjoyed this season.
