On the whole I'd say pretty much every national anthem is terrible compared to most other music. I like that the Dutch national anthem introduces itself in the first person as being spoken by a German who then pledges allegiance to Spain (it was written by William of Orange at a time when Spain ruled Holland) whereas the Spanish national anthem doesn't pledge allegiance to Spain (there are no longer any words to it as the previous words were endorsed by general Franco and are now seen as bad form to sing). Nepal is oddly not-anthemesque but Russia is the best of a bad bunch.
And for taking the piss... God Save the Queen (or King as it then was) was taken on by America as an alternative anthem (it originally was their national anthem) and has been sung at recent inaugurations. Given that one of the refuted origins of our anthem (or certainly wider usage) was during the American war of Independence it is a very U.S.A. thing to do:
I can see the issue all of a sudden I only rate the first tbh But in all seriousness those images show two serious problems in society
Objectification of women, the use of it to sell concepts/ideas/anything and men allowing their carnal wants to rule out over their rationality and make stupid un-evolved decisions?
To be fair I think them, Colombia and Peru will do well. I reckon one of them will probably make the semi finals.
