Seems like the the lad is in the mob, after checking him out. But no sorrys from me. you diss the mob even when you think its just fun, ,,,well see what just happened, I and folks like me wont have it. end off. put people in whatever mob, in dangerous positions, and they will never be flippent. IE ...N IR, ADEN. A/GHAN./RAQ etc.

folks who serve nowadays who diss the mob, I have to ask WHERE THEY HAVE SERVED, and what job do they do?

I didn't say that the national anthem wasn't outdated / boring / representative of all home nations / etc. What I was getting at was why were the English lads singing and the welsh not. It was quite obvious and watching a bit of late night news a few of the papers have seemed to have picked up on it.

For bill, a little OT and I hopefully won't go on about this again as this is an Internet forum (ie pretty anonymous) on football so do I really give a monkey's ass who believes I do what but I've always found that the people who take the piss out of the military the most are the military themselves. And I think that's a good thing as when you're forced to take yourself seriously you're more than likely in the ****

Don't know what all the fuss is about, if you notice during England games Rooney never sings the anthem, and he's not the only one. Fair enough, he has an excuse, he's too thick to remember the words.
I agree its a boring anthem , we definitely need something to fire people up like Jerusalem.
