I like both horses here, Pour Moi won the Derby under an extremely good ride and Nathaniel won the King George fair and square.

Personally to back Pour Moi at such short odds ante post seems bad value but if you are that confident then why not!

I have backed Nathaniel EW at 50s and 33s and just hope i get a run for my money :emoticon-0100-smile

greatpilsudski, Behkabad and Planteur ran in the Prix Niel on last year’s Arc trials card as they were both three-year-olds. The Prix Foy is for older horses and was won by John Gosden’s Duncan, with the subsequent Arc runner-up Nakayama Festa second. Arc third Sarafina lost her unbeaten record when thrashed by Midday in the Prix Vermeille that day.

The Arc trials are not the only races in France where there does not seem to be any hurry. Quite a lot of their top races are run at a married-man’s gallop, which is why the form book is so unreliable in France.
