bit of talk going around that we're in for this guy. Has started watching qpr on twitter etc etc.

I mentioned his name before after watching swindon in play-offs - good attacking wing back one of the best players on show I thought.

Was going to post this earlier but wasn't sure if it was just gossip from WATRB.

Hahaha wrote in the Gladwin/Luongo threads that we might as well pick him up now we've got a link with Swindon going. He impressed highly against Sheff Utd over the two legged semi's.
I won't mind as looked a proper prospect. Has a spurs past so Ramsey/Les knows him.

Town’s asking price will test Byrne’s suitors
NATHAN Byrne’s price tag could put off potential suitors this summer, with Swindon Town expected to want as much as £1million for the right-back.

Byrne, who was named in the League One team of the season in 2014/15, has a year remaining on his County Ground contract but is reportedly the subject of interest from QPR, while Total Sport understands Brentford and Huddersfield have both been keeping a keen eye on the availability of the former Tottenham trainee.

However, with a 50 per cent sell-on fee due to Spurs in the event of Byrne being sold, Swindon chairman Lee Power is expected to ask for a high six-figure sum from his suitors to secure the 23-year-old’s services. Sources have suggested that asking price could reach £1million.

Byrne originally joined Swindon on loan from Tottenham in March 2013 before signing permanently in the summer of the same year.

The flying wing-back has scored eight goals in 101 appearances for the Robins.
