I initially thought no chance they will want him back because I had it in my head he was about 19-20 but at 23 he is unlikely to be in their plans as if a player hasn't got into the first team by 21 or so a Premier league team will go out and buy for the position instead.

Like to see us get him signed, would be great in January before he has other offers in the summer.

He’s not gonna make it at Everton. I really hope we’re looking into an early permanent deal for the lad.

everton been struggling a bit for strikers with DCL out and richarlison not coming up with the goods, would have thought if broadhead was going to be in with a shout there then this would have been an ideal time to recall him and get him in the team, makes me think he is not going to get that chance.

his first start for us he stood out then had a couple of 'off games' but most of the squad did, he really seems to be gaining confidence now and will be a handful for anyone, really hope there is an option in there for us and hope he would like to stay here.

Don't know how true it is but I was told the loan contract contains a clause to buy if we are promoted
I'm sure there was something on the summer transfer thread about this. He signed a 2 year deal at Everton to June 2023 but there is something in the loan deal to sign him permenantly.

He was excellent against Cheltenham, but got injured towards the end of that game. He did have a couple of 'off' games after returning from injury, but he looks like he's up to full speed again and I'm pleased he's getting plenty of game time.

He seems to be enjoying his time here and would be a good acquisition.

You obviously didn't watch Everton's last game against Arsenal...

From what I've seen hes better playing a little deeper off Stewart. A clever player who links up well and it helps he has an eye for goal too. He was excellent playing as a 10 against Cheltenham and then again playing from the left against Morecambe (if a little inverted to allow Gooch to bomb on and overlap).

A canny second striker for me.

Yep so far so good, with a few more games to see how him and Stewart gel...
