I'd take Nasri. He's the kind of player whose magic can change a game. That's exactly what we need in our squad<ok>

And Fergie would certainly get more out of him than Wenger.

He scored some goals in the first half of this season. To say he carried you, given that he is anomynous for large periods of any given game even when on form, would be pushing it a bit. I don't rate him highly at all and am willing to say it now, rather than wait for us to sign him and act shocked when he doesn't produce. He's been at Arsenal for 3 seasons and by and large, has produced not an awful lot. The fact is that any attcking player at your club gets a great reputation simply by scoring in 2 games in succession or doing the occasional nice turn. I don't know why but it's true.

Truth is, if he moved to United, I'm not convinced it would hurt Arsenal more than it would hurt us. I suppose, him and Berbatov could each get hattricks in a 10-0 win. That would silence the doubters!

Personally I think nasri belongs in an average team like arsenal and don't think he would get a place in the united team. Plus as others have said he's not at his best playing in cm.
Not too keen on signing Ashley young either.
Need modric or diego or maybe a gamble on a young talent like Lucas moura.

I'm slightly warming to the idea I must admit. He did go off the boil quite badly in the 2nd part of last season but showed in the first part what a good footballer he is. Utd need someone who can score 10-15 goals from midfield on a regular basis and Nasri is capable of that.

Having said that will wenger really wanna sell him to a rival! Cant really see it happening. He must still be reeling about the last time we did business,,when we somehow managed to flog them Silvestre!!

Arsenal would rather run down his contract and get nothing or even sell him for 1/10th of the price to any team other than Utd. If Utd offered 20m and Milan offered 5m they would take the Milan option. They let Flaminis contract run down simply because they did not want to sell him and he ended up going on the free.

I'm not so sure about that, Arsenal's finances are not as glittering as they would have everyone believe and allowing Nasri's contract to run down would probably cost them at least £20m not only in fees lost but also paying his wages for another year. After all that they would then be powerless to stop him from joining whoever he wanted. Football is a business and if United made a serious offer and Nasri wanted to go, Arsenal would have to accept that there was nothing they could do.

Personally I'm not sure he will join United, however if Spurs want silly money for Modric, Nasri may be worth a punt. At the moment though it is all speculative and until a move for Fabregas is made we are unlikely to see anything happening at Arsenal.

    Evening,

I don't think United are interested ( I don't think he suites our style of play ), I also don't think Arsenal would sell to us.

I think it is simply Nasri and his agent trying to get a better contract from Arsenal..... the usual crap really.

Nasri has bunny teeth and is a bit of a twat, but I would have him on our team if we could get him.

United need a CM its no secert, since we arent going to get Modric unless paying alot, why not bid for Nasri?
Afterall he did play there when Fabregas was injured, and that was where his best form came from. He can also provide cover on either flanks. A 15m bid should get him I think, which is quite cheap considering the current market.

Henderson 20m? Nasri is atleast 2x him.

He is not really a CM, to be effective he needs to be further forward.
