I watched this game here in Oz and I got the decided impression that Nani faked this injury just to ease the bollocking he was obviously going to get from Sir Alex for his boo-boo that cost his team a goal. I watched the replay and I am buggered if I can see how there was anything that could cause him to roll around in agony and then get stretchered off. It is now reported that he is out for a month. Perhaps a film director could employ him in his latest film as this bloke would surely win an Oscar.
He should also be slapped (forgive the pun) with a charge for "Striking a Stretcher-Bearer"!

Just to make it clear i didnt post that on twitter, i dont use it my friend linked me to it at work.

on the topic of shin pads,have you seen the size Nani and Adebayor wear its embarrasing. No wonder they get hurt.
 
typical case of Adrenaline, clearly took a massive hit got up flapped his arms around for a bit and as the adrenaline wore off he realised he was in a lot of pain, I know he has a reputation but this time I think he was been sincere.

Haha, I have enough keeping up with facebook and not606 dont think i could hack twitter aswell plus im not really interested in which celeb is posting about riding Katie Price.
 
i've looked at the pics and am still of the opinion that he is as gay as a pink fairy who's just won the gayest pink fairy of the year award, I can imagine that practically anyone on these boards who plays or played football has had much worse cuts or injuries from playing and has managed to see out 90 mins and then play a few days later.

I agree with the original post, I reckon he knew he was in for a serious bollocking so minced off when he took this knock to get himself out of it

Totally agree.It's a scratch, nowt else.

My mate broke his ankle doing the final commando test ( 30 miler)in the Marines and ended up 'yomping' about 7 miles with said injury in full kit over rough terrain to complete the test.He said it 'smarted' a bit but thought he'd just get on with.

That's cos he's a bloke and Nani not only looks like a bird( an ugly bird) he probably is one.

Even his name sounds a bit fruity.
