doubt will be Bale .. he is way over priced now my bet is Rodriguez.. seem he was in our radar since some time .. but again would they sell when they are in next round in CL? highly doubt it .. but will not rule out a swap + money http://www.crunchsports.com/categor...-as-Nani-left-off-2013-calendar-201212040001/
Course they can't all be wrong. After all, we sold Rooney in 2010 and signed Sneijder last summer just like the media all said we would...
well it was rooney who come up and said he wanted to leave .. what else you want? regarding Sneijder, he was one of realistic targets , but his fee and wages were too much at the end .. similar to RVP case this season, as Sir Alex had to sign him after missing out on some players .. if we had get lucas moura, i doubt we would had gone to RVP tbh
Anyone know the status of Nani's contract? I know there were rumors he wanted more wages, but I can't recall if he signed a new deal or not.
Nani was injured, recovered and then injured himself again. Thats why its taken longer than usual. As for his contract, hes on 40-80k a week and wants 125k a week. I dont see why the club is messing about to b honest. Yeh hes in bad form but hes still been our best winger this season and even in bad form at least he is capable of something unlike Young and valencia who are ****ing dire when out of form. Valencia has been utterly shocking all season so far and Young gets #100k + a week anyway. Nani is worth way ****ing more. I would give him #100k and a goal/assist bonus. I would then start him every game and within a month he would be on top form and creating goals galore like he did the one and only real tim hes been in the team consistently. Nani at his best is the best winger in the league. its not even up for debate as he ****s on every other winger. bale, valencia, Hazard. name whoever you like and they are not as good as Nani on top form* * Someone will mention Bale v Inter so let me jump in and say **** off. Bale v Maicon........... I would make a mockery of Maicon ffs. Massive pile of **** player then and now.
That Moura nonsense was always bollocks Shwan, and thank god for that. How's he doing by the way? You'd see more of him than us but I'd lay money on him not being worth a quarter of what they paid. I would keep Nani but wouldn't pay him as much as he wants. If he digs his heels in for that amount then he can leave, it's just too much money. I love how you use Valencia's poor run of form as a stick to beat him with yet forgive Nani anything UIR! Not really treating them as equals.
When was the last time Nani even remotely looked like one of the top wingers in the Premier League? He's been almost as bad as Torres for the best part of two seasons, even before that he struggled to be consistent, he's 26 now and can't live on his past reputation forever.
I do like Valencia and rate him almost as highly as Nani Ruff but that extra flair of Nani and his unpredictably means he can still create something which is his primary job as a winger. Like Psycho says, nani has been in poor form for quite some time but in that time hes got 9 goals and 11 assists in 28 starts. I know stats are not the be all and end all but come on, 20 contributions in 28 games is a pretty darn good return. Its certainly much better than Torres ffs. Thats what Nani can do while out of form. I dont know if Valencia is capable of something similar in his current form which is equal to if not worse than Nanis and i really doubt Young can produce those stats. He probably wouldnt be much better in top form.
Is there any concrete evidence Nani's leaving? That "story" from the mirror was poor even by their standards.
Oh, good for him. He is one player that I'm delighted we didn't waste a penny on. Stopped paying any attention as soon as it was obviously all garbage. One player we most definitely did not need. Regarding Nani, for how long does his lack of form stay acceptable? As there is currently no sign of a return to form, and this is pre injury also, it's not really a surprise United aren't falling over themselves to give him his £125k a week contract.
