Personally I don't see staying up as an option. The figures are just so much against it now.If there is a winner of Sunderland v Cardiff then that's the one.We need a Sunderland-esque result.Beating Arsenal is our best hope but I think we need another point as well.I expect the GD to take a hit on the next two games too.

agree to a point but they still dont have to put that much effort in, thats the hungriest for a win ive seen them play all season, is it because the defensive tactics being removed have lifted them out of a depressive state? The next 3 games will tell the full story, IF we survive it will be hard to deny NA the credit IMO

What a misssed opportunity if we do go down. We are just at that point were we could kick on and get someone decent in. Such a shame.

As for replacements, if we go down I think Rosler would be perfect if Wigan fail to go up. He's obviously switched on and can generate belief and work with what we have. I'd even be tempted if we stayed up to go for him. I'd be tempted with Steve Clarke as I don't think he was sacked purely for football reasons. I think everyone is pretty sick of the regimented football to want Malky here. We need impetus and fresh ideas, not more of the same.

Even if we stayed up I wouldn't touch Moyes (not that he'd come here) with a barge pole, just a better Chris Hughton really, he has no artistic merit to his play at all. Stereotypical British manager, horrible to watch.

If we do stay up it will certainly be interesting, although knowing us the result will be quite dull.

I've gone on about this for an age, a foreign manager is the best way to go, especially in the top division. You just have to carry out thorough research for the right fit.
