This is spot on. Although its not the campaign that's the problem. Is the spags twisting Allams every words and spouting their vitriol about him, and poo pooing anything he says or does. If he and out in the press tomorrow and said he'd fund a striker out of his own pocket, these folk would poo poo him for publicly stating Sagbo, Gedo, Graham et al aren't good enough and it will shatter their confidence.
I'll reiterate this for those struggling to grasp the concept that they don't own the club. Football is now a business. Get with the times. A business will make decisions during its life, generally to carry the business forward. Some includes sacking people. Closing shops. Changing logos. Changing names. Relocating. Hiring new staff. Handing out bonuses. Increasing salaries. Decreasing salaries etc... Now these decisions don't always make everyone happy. Fair enough. Now as an employee what are your options if you are seriously ****ing pissed off? Beg the owner to stop? Make scarves to wear at work? no your only real options are... A strike. ( and I would know something about strikes as I'm half French) Simples. The only thing you can do is not give any money to the club and hope that AA sells the club. Protests won't change a thing if you carry on going to games and buying merchandise or club food. This is a BUSINESS argument. If you wanna keep the moral high ground, go support another team, be my guest. This is AA's business. He calls the shot no matter how annoying it is and I really don't get why this is so hard to understand. Be as ****ing pissed off as you wanna be, it won't change a thing.
Sorry but that's bollocks. His words don't need twsting. He embarrasses himself on his own. There's much more of the opposite to what you said: a few people try to translate his bollocks into some clever master plan where he deliberately pretends to be stupid to make money or something.
Your buddy Obi has openly statedt in his post that he believes the Allams don't have a clue what they're doing. You can't claim that and simultaneously want him to stay. That's contradicting yourself. That would imply you'd want to keep someone in charge who in your opinion doesn't have a clue what he's doing and how to sustain a club afloat. So either you think the guy is clueless or you want him to stay. It can't be both. That'd be ******ed.
I think we all understand that he won't listen by being asked nicely, but CTWD seem to be hoping they can prevent this nonsense by getting the FA and PL onside. Hopefully they'll achieve something and it won't have to come down to boycotting games.
I'm not twisting his words into his favour. I saw the video and it does seem like he has no master plan. but then why not demonstrate to get him out? If you think he has no clue then why stop at the name change? Or do you want to keep an owner who has no clue.
I voted on the relevant poll thread that I would prefer if he leaved. But that can't happen without a new owner buying us first.
If there was news of someone wanting to buy us then it would be a WHOLE different ball game. IF... I'm all for the campaign and those involved to fight for what they believe in but not if it's going to screw the club up more than a name change would.
no it hasn't but AA has clearly implied on the video that he's had enough. So I can see problems emerging if more actions are taken by CTWD.
That's his character flaw, not anyone else's. We shouldn't have to shut up and never question him just because he behaves like a dick and threatens us.
Obi, just a word of advice for proper conduct on this forum. As you can tell we're very civilised on here, therefore you're unlikely to get a point across to someone unless you call them a **** aswell. So in short, what I'm saying is you should have put "No I don't want them out. You should stop guessing, put your brain in gear and read what I write you ****.
Another slightly flawed poll as the likelihood is that Allam wishes us to be playing as Hull Tigers for 2014/2015, something which Allam will move for in April 2014
