Nothings changed really. After his recent interviews it was to be expected. I hoped for something different. All eyes turn towards the FA. The roulette wheel is now spinning.

It's ironic that his username is a number which never repeats itself, although it is fitting that it is also irrational.

I wish I had confidence in the FA.

I'm sure Steve Bruce is delighted by this...

He can't help himself but to just keep upping the ante, when anyone else would've questioned their decision.

    Small cock, big ego.

I didn't underestimate him, and he's never said he'd apply for the change, but in your desperation, you've never let the facts get in the way of trying to be contrary.

Quote from AA " Manchester United are selling shirts in the Far East" doesn't he realise there are more f'king letters in Manchester United then there is in hull city AFC? It's about winning that sells shirts not your name! :-(

Andy Dalton coming across very well on Sky.

Puts the pressure squarely on the FA. I think the media have been very good in their coverage, and the fans representatives interviews have been a credit to Hull City AFC

And the fact that they are a successful club?

Which is why they sell well in Asia, there is no other reason.

I will carry on buying my season ticket simply because I support my team, Hull City AFC, that support will never change no matter who owns the club..Certain posters on here seem to equate buying tickets as backing Mr. Allam, nothing could be further from the truth.

I have already cancelled my subscription to Tigers Player and will not be spending a penny on merchandise or beer or food (no great sacrifice to be honest).

I don't believe Mr. Allam will walk away, I can't see him the financial hit this would entail.

I'm happy the application is in.

It brings closure to the first phase of objections. We know we can't change AA's mind now but all energy can now be focused towards the FA.

My biggest concern though is still how AA will react when the FA turn down his application.....

Considering he hasn't done any proper consultation with the fans to comply with FA, it should be turned down.

Erm...no! Because the volume of protest has to be such that the FA can't ignore it......

    Happy Tiger

I will still support the club / Hull City or Hull Tigers.

I will still buy 3 season passes next season.

I might even buy a replica shirt once they take the bloody cash converters advert off.

Like you a name change isn't such a big deal to me.
I know a few who think the same as me who have also being going for years

I'm loving this season...one of my best in the last 48 years.

Name change isn't going to spoil it for me.

Time will tell if it will bring in investment.....I won't pretend I know if it will or won't.

I will sing CITY TILL I DIE as usual....chances are when asked who I support
I will say the Tigers or Hull City as I always have.

Fingers crossed that the name change WILL bring in more cash..

As for a fan takeover....I won't support that......UNLESS they have the cash behind them to run the club......right now they don't...

Based on public comments, right now, they have more available for the Club than Mr Allam does.

Let's stop with the "will it get more fans in Asia" thing - it is a distraction technique.

Allam does not have a moral right to change the name of Hull City - it is as simple as that. Hopefully the FA back the fans on that, but if not, then I sincerely hope CTWD are willing to step up their campaign.

So now the decision is with the FA - as it was always going to be. So the question is, who decides (ie is it just the 92 league clubs, the whole of English football - ie every club registered with the FA, or a small and select committee). And for those slagging off Allam and other chairman/owners (Venkys and Tan to name 2 others), wasn't there meant to be a fit and proper test before anyone was allowed to buy a club - or is it the words of the FA rather than the actions, to those assuming the FA will show they have a pair of equipment which all men have (not sure if can say that phrase on this site)

Don't you get it? All publicity is GOOD publicity, he's playing a very crafty game and we're all falling for it.

People have the wrong idea of what that test means. It's more related to their financial status, and then in very simple terms.

The Premier League has tighter restrictions than the rest of the Football League and Football Conference. In general, a businessman will fail the test if:
They have power or influence over another Football League club
They hold a significant interest in another Football League club
They become prohibited by law from being a director
    They are filing for bankruptcy
They have been director of a club while it has suffered two or more unconnected events of insolvency
They have been a director of two or more clubs of which, while they have been director, has suffered an event of insolvency

Really? So telling fans to go and die is good publicity?
