You've forgotten about the ground debacle. There must have been a sensible way that both sides could gain and we could have had an increased capacity ground but I suspect it was Allam being unreasonable that ensured it didn't happen.

You genuinely thought that was a question worth asking?

I think you can say "balls" on a football site!

Being an idiot doesn't disqualify anybody.

The Premier League has tighter restrictions than the rest of the Football League and Football Conference. In general, a businessman will fail the test if:
They have power or influence over another Football League club
They hold a significant interest in another Football League club
They become prohibited by law from being a director
    They are filing for bankruptcy
They have been director of a club while it has suffered two or more unconnected events of insolvency
They have been a director of two or more clubs of which, while they have been director, has suffered an event of insolvency

You seem to be coming up with examples of changes that have a benefit. That doesn't compare to changing the name to Hull Tigers.

If Allam has applied for the name change won't the FA ask him for reasons?

If Allam could come up with sensible reasons why the club would make a lot more money by being called Hull Tigers I would accept it.

The alternative was the club closing down.

Who has said they will boycott matches? I'd be surprised if it's in double figures.

No. I didn't know they had any supporters who travelled all over to watch them.

Really? No outrage that if a couple of ****wits from CI hadn't forced his hand, you might have had a chance to change this decision? You wouldn't have this thread if it wasn't for them, not yet at least, not until spring mostly likely.

Are they connected to CTWD btw or just supporters of it? How about the other Supporter Groups?

I don't think any Hull City fan would support Leeds.

I don't think Allam would "pull out". I'm sure he didn't have the cash to put into Hull City. He would have taken out loans with security - "pulling out" isn't an option.

I have heard that "pulling out" isnt an effective way to stop baby football clubs from being born.

Because they would have had to take on the debts.

That contradicts your statement: "I go to Paragon station and board a train to Leeds with the other three hundred Hull based Leeds fans.”

If you mean he's an old fool lashing out because he hasn't got his way, then spot on.

Not in the slightest. They make me laugh. They're kinda pathetic too, especially the ones who think they're clever.

I'm just surprised there's no reaction to the fact that if those ****wits hadn't done what they did, and thought they were being clever about it, this thread wouldn't exist.

I take it then that you support them and think they had a good plan. Noone else seems to be condemning their stupid action either from any of the Supporter Groups.

No ones mentioned which supporter groups they're a part of either I see, wonder why that is.
