On excellent form at Bradford. Young, pacey and can score goals. Worth a go?

On that note, where does this once prolific goal scorer, who fired blanks for us, hang his hat these days?

Completely agree with original post. Was lookin for transfer thread and came across this. Great form last yr, wld not cost loads possibly solves winger issues. Great last year and scoring for fun at moment, confidence is a wonderful thing??

On their cup run last year he was the one player who really caused problems for opposing defences, would be a decent addition to the squad...

I actually think you could be right there sb.

Shall we start a few more Stainsey? Have to be vaguely credible to begin with, then when we find a few captive journos are biting, build up to Messi.

Better not, might irritate our fellow posters.

That young Wilson from Coventry's a bit tasty though, bet Harold's got an eye on him.

I think Wells is rubbish, and would be completely insufficient for our promotion push. Admittedly that's only from seeing a couple of games during Bradford's cup run...
He was league2's #4'th highest scorer last season with 18 goals.
But to put the quality of league2 in to perspective, #3 was none other than Danny Nardiello with 19, and #2 another old boy in Jamie Cureton with 21.

What you're not seeing though is that, if you look over a couple of years, he's getting better every season! 6 goals this year already in league 1. It's not always about the goals a well though, it's how he plays and whether a scout/coach thinks that's the best he's going to be, or can they make him better! It's all about the potential......
