You should watch this programme. They're going through all the conspiracy myths one by one dispelling them. The guy in the beret reminds me of you.
thing is they cant ever prove it. big deal there's mirrors on the moon, they could of been dropped there by a drone
I have watched this episode and it doesnt really prove or disprove anything. Its human nature to explore, conquer, and **** up everything we touch, so why go to the moon, and just not go there again for 50 years, it doesnt make sense, surely there is something up there we can use. there is a theory that Aliens are on the other side of the moon, mining all the deposits and thats why we have never went, as we got warned off, but again, its our bloody moon, if its true (not saying it is) pretty sure we would have nuked the bastards off it by now lol
They can't prove it, but they can disprove the conspiracy theorists theories one by one, like they're doing in this programme. Not one hasn't been 'busted' yet.
Actually the moon landings were all a hoax and were exclusively filmed during the half-time interval at White Hart Lane when the tide had gone out.
Cost. It was a vanity project during the Cold War and a way of getting one over on the Russians. Anyone who thinks it's a fake needs psychiatric help.
Mythbusters is great. Although Discovery do tend to kick the arse out of programs on a weekend. Other shows designed specifically to piss off your missus are Scrapheap Challenge and the daddy of all ridiculous shows, Deadliest Warrior.
Steve there's something you must have missed... There have been six manned moon landings - Apollo 11 landed 20 July 1969 Apollo 12 landed 19 November 1969 Apollo 14 landed 5 February 1971 Apollo 15 landed 30 July 1971 Apollo 16 landed 20 April 1972 Apollo 17 landed 11 December 1972 Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_moon_landings_have_there_been#ixzz1QNi7lM15
That Scottish weapon expert was a legend. "You know what we call that in Scotland? A wee pointy stick."
so surely if there has been 6 (which i know there was) then cost isnt an issue, 1 to win the race, yes, cost may have been but 6? I am not saying they didnt land on the moon, or even that they did, I have an open mind either way, but they built the space shuttle, which cant land on the moon, well it can but its stuck there so pointless. and they have about 2-3 missions a year to launch satelites for TV companies ffs, if they wnted to go to the moon, they could have done, quite easy, cost wouldnt have been a problem as someone would have paid for it.
