You're not allowed to argue about spelling, you couldn't get Steve right. That doesn't make sense could you quote Watford R for me Shteve so that my funny works. Thanks.
Van gaal says "mystery signing has not been linked to us". Press hang on Van Gaal's every word. Search for strikers we have yet to be linked with....then claim they are the mystery signing. This is literally the dumb fcks we have in the media. A bunch of moronic school boys. Expect more ridiculous suggestions...
LVG is obviously poking fun at the media. They are hanging on to his every word... My guess is that it was Benteke - the 32.5m man who the RS snatched despite all our efforts to get him and who chose them instead of us. Yet again (according to the ******s) in additon to Ings, Firmino, and a host of others, they are getting a player we were desperate to buy
Ha ha now he's saying the mystery signing was never a striker. The press are being right royally played here
I may criticise LVG on many things but the way he pulls the strings and dismisses our self important football press is brilliant to see
He doesn't half come across as an arrogant knob though, particularly when he has very little to be arrogant about.
He's won titles in various European countries and a European Cup. His CV is strong enough to give him the confidence to treat the media hacks with the contempt most of them deserve.
Lost in translation perhaps (culture I mean rather than language - he is dutch after all). I could understand what you're saying if we're talking about Rodgers but LVG has achieved a lot in his career to feel arrogant about. When it comes down to it, LVG's style and approach is something ppl like if he is their manager but probably grate on ppl if he isnt
I think the Dutch as a whole tend to come across as a bit arrogant. It's not just van Gaal. They're like Germans without the elasticated waist jeans.
He definitely grates on me. Maybe it is just being Dutch but he comes across as a bit disturbing. Of course he's had a great managerial career overall but I think his performance as United manager has been hugely underwhelming.
He's definitely done the bare minimum at United last season. I wont even judge him on winning the league next season BUT he has to win something to prove himself. If he doesnt I'll be the first to call him on it. Just generally though, a lot of foreign managers that arrive in the prem are surprised by the tedious obsession and general lack of knowledge from our football press. Anyone who's ever watched Sunday Supplement know just how up their own ar5es they really are...and also how utterly clueless as well. The cliched bollox and Skysports led agenda they serve is fcking awful tbh.
