    Cheers Norway. Reading your post reminds me what a different world league 1 was - having players like Rowlands and Cook who gave everything to the team without the riches we pay our squad now. He deserves a testimonial. Come to think of it, you're a bit of a legend yourself, flying over from Norway to see us when we were ****!

    Excellent post Norway, he too was one of my favourite QPR players. Excellent comparison with ''a lower league Steven Gerrard'' as well!

    Thanks to everyone for the nice replies :emoticon-0150-hands

    In the end of the day it should be important to take into account that the likes of Rowly, Cooky and Birch lived the dream, playing for the club they support and earned an absolute fortune in doing so. But they all wore they're hearts on their sleeves and that's why they're held in such high regards.

    Birch now works at the club, Rowly has found himself a new employer and hopefulle Cooky follows suit very soon. All the best in the future <applause>
