Quality result and performance Saturday - Forest came to snatch a 0-0 hence it was difficult to break them down but a well deserved 3 points, clean sheet and a good start to the season.

Two really sumptuous goals - Schars - a certified club banger and Wilsons - a deft flick from probably his first bit of really good CF movement on the day. Think those two were probably the worst performers on the day - Schar had some erratic moments from CB and poor passing while Wilson looked like a player who had only played 2 competitive games since January but were the two who ended up coming good, saying that I agree with Tash that no one played below a 7 on the day.

What was really exciting was Bruno - his passing and vision is insane - can't remember a better CM at playing passes that break lines like him. Cabaye was similar but think Bruno is streets ahead of him especially technically. On another day we could have had 2/3 more goals with better finishing or awareness of players seeing those in the middle waiting for a tap in from players being played through by Bruno. Special mention to Willock who I thought was class and Big Jo was his usual self steaming about winning balls all over. That midfield looks mustard and could easily push us towards those European places. The other exciting thing was the style of play - a complete contrast to last years first 16 games - good pressing, high tempo , ball retention and playing out from the back. Need to see how we get on over the next few weeks as the games get more difficult but we actually looked like an EPL team for the first time in probably 10 years or so.

If the Sesko links are true we will really be cooking and I still think there is a good chance of Paqueta turning up as well. With those two I think I'd lump a tenner on us breaking the top 6 this year even though I don't usually gamble.

Friday nights are better, love the atmosphere under the lights with a longer time for beers before the game.

Night games aren't as good because it's harder to see Albert falling into the ditch. Much better in full daylight.
