It is predictable but in it's best point it's really effective and simple!

Enrique passes to Guti, Guti passes to Enrique, Guti waits and passes again to Enrique until Enrique either passes to Nolan or Tiote or dribbles through the opponent's full-back(See Bolton game), crosses it in or shoots.

    Predictable but dangerous.

Probably predictable to us as we watch them week in week out, but to opposing players at the start of a match they may not be expecting it.

Got a good view of Tiotes goal but didn't get a good view of our dissallowed goal, I thought it was good. Of course looking straight up the pitch you just can't tell offsides at the other end.

Was about to say top notch article, then read the Jonas bit...Bit unnecessary, he was my MOTM and couldn't really force Ferguson into the match, the lad looked nervous at first and dodgy couple of touches (improved as soon as he got a feel for the ball) and impressed after that.

The thing is though, we were a goal down, we didn't have the luxury of time for our youngsters to adapt. PLUS Jonas was injured for most of the time Ferguson was on the pitch, if he wasn't running through the pain barrier he was hobbling about!

  5. I said that i think Jonas played well today, but it's not just this game when he didn't seem to want to pass to Ferguson, it was also when we were 5-0 up vs West Ham. He passed to him once, which lead to the chance that Ranger missed from 4 yards.

Good article, Jonas MOTM for me also though. Would only give McLovin a 5 also, good couple of runs but gave Taylor no defensive cover when he went to RM. Also went missing for large parts of the game.

I wasn't that impressed with Jonas today, though he did deserve credit for continuing on after being crocked but he was better than the vast majority of the team. Agree about Harper being man of the match and about Steven Taylor struggling at full back, thought Simpson had a shocker as well.

Guti MOTM for me as well, but other than that some good points there Tash.

Particularly agree with your comments about Saylor at right back. Think we may have learned something today because using him as a right back is quite often mentioned. I'm with you, based on that performance i'd rather have Perch there. Jeez ... never thought i'd say that! :)

  13. You shouldn't have gotten your hopes up mate, it took a 4 goal comeback against the best footballing side in the league to get us a decent spot on the show.

Because it was ****ing Arsenal! Twats at the beeb think every football fan is obsessed with who is going to win the league rather than just wanting to see the highlights of the most entertaining games. They are so out of touch with what we want! Or is it just me?

Not just you mate. Bloody hate the actual programme, only watch for our highlights. Or lack of them.

  19. Gary Linekers ears and Mark Lawrensons Alf like face are putting me off, never mind our lack of analysis.
