    Santon Saylor Colo Cissokho... would be simply FANTASTIC.

    Cabaye was decent aswell,. Sameobi either ran it into dead ends, or out of play. Jonas worked hard, but raylor was useless today. His deliveries were poor and he often went into dead ends;

    Disagree about Sameobi. He drove our attacks forward at times, and took up good positions. If Simpson decided to pass then Sameobi would have been one-on-one with Clichy numerous times. And he has very good dribbling ability, he just had to keep cutting in on to his left foot. If he was on the left, he could have crossed without cutting inside.

    Sammy was quality. Even if Obertan's back I'd stick with Sammy, they pretty much do the same thing but Sammy works harder.

    All in all I agree, a better analysis than Tash, which isnt hard.

    (I've somehow managed to put my replies to your points in with your original quote :shocked:

    Game went pretty much as expected except we created a few more chances than I thought we would. We were very disciplined in the main and I'm not gonna jump on Raylors back because of one poor game. He looked devastated at half time. You have to take what chances you get but Ba wasn't at the races generally. They are just top class and though they dominated possession overall, we managed to restrict them better than most. They are so good you need to take your chances and things to go your way at key times. Raylor obviously gifted them one and maybe could have dragged his arm away for the other, but it may have flown in anyway. Ben Arfa was clumsy but its not his game defending! Overall I thought we equipped ourselves well, and the game plan just fell down by a couple of errors prior to half time. Certainly 2nd half when Pardew had clearly told them to improve their quality with the ball and have a go, we had a good 20 min spell where we could have got back in. We just weren't able to take Benni or Colo's chance.

    I'm more upbeat than disheartened by it as they have been the best side in the division. They deserved to win but we can't afford to lose 3 first team players, they can and that's the gulf in class. I rate most of our first team as being to compete with most teams. Cheik is a massive gap for us.
