Strange isn't how whipped up people get over football rivalry. The other day, when He and Herbert Taylor came together to talk football between the respective clubs, he came across as a reasonable bloke. One could hear from the South Today video, a meeting of minds. At one point, Westwood said... I know exactly where you're coming from. Not the sort of comment you'd expect from a fan with a reputation for being an idiot.

I'm fairly sure, outside of football, he is a decent bloke who just wants to do well for himself

However, in his "football gear" he is a class A twat
 
Before damning Westwood and cursing him to high heaven, is there any corroboration for the original post? Can anyone verify the story? Surely the police would have heard of it by now, or the media. I dont want to call anyone a liar here but at the moment it just seems like a "friend of friend" kind of story.

Well, we don't want to immediately question the lad's word, or it'll turn into a mere shouting match. However, I take your point. It could have been Pompey supporters throwing coins and Westwood could just have been with them, and so was included. I think, as far as Saints fans forums go, this is as fair a trial zone as you're going to get for a Pompey fan. If you're expecting everyone to be open and fair minded here, you're asking too much.
 
I fully expect to see bias against Westwood here and I do recognize that on match day he becomes a drunken fool who could do any manner of stupid thing - though he is not a violent drunk, just a stupid drunk. All I want to know is if the story can be verified.
 
quality bit of red tinted specs as usual, its a complete sin and utter disgrace that something allegedly happened on one of our fans buses, yet the coins bottles and christ knows what that henderson got hurled at him at fratton by your fans is forgotten?
