Agreed that McCarthy has been better than Keane and Jewell by bringing academy players through. I definitely feel our next appointment should be somebody with a record / preference for bringing through the talented young players. Whoever replaces McCarthy, or if it's McCarthy in charge next season, then a squad containing potential first team regulars like Dozzell, Nydam, Downes, and Kenlock can certainly be built upon. Add in a spine like Bart, Webster, Skuse (one more season perhaps), Huws, and Waghorn and there is a chance to fashion an attractive football team with designs on a play off spot. I agree Knudsen is a saleable asset. A club abroad could be tempted, wasn't he linked to a Norweigan side recently? I don't think we'd get a lot for him though. I'd like to see Kenlock being given more first team football to develop. Sadly I'd say 75% of the time I've seen him play, he has been fairly disappointing. Needs to work on his defensive game, but he's still young.
